John returns to Germany

After the fight, the couple makes up and spends their last days together before John returns to Germany. Tim, always hoping the best for Savannah, supports her and is friendly with John. I admire Tim because he shows how he truly loves Savannah because he does not act selfish, he doesn´t mind If she is with another guy, he only wants to see her happy. I will love to have a friend like Tim, someone who really cares about you and that supports you in every decision you make. Along the novel, you can get confused because is difficult to decide who is best for Savannah, if John or Tim.

At the end, I think this dilemma is present in every woman´s mind. Is difficult to choose between someone you love and someone who is the best for you.
The chapter ends when, finally, John has to return to Germany and both promise to write to each other and maintain a relationship no matter the distance.

Quotes:

“I was thinking that I wished you had been with me the last couple of days. I mean, I enjoyed getting to know everyone better. We ate lunch together, and the dinner last night was a lot of fun, but I just felt like something was wrong, like I was missing something. It was not until I saw you walking up the beach that I realize it was you.”
“I promise to be a perfect gentleman”
“I knew that I could live to be a hundred and visit every country in the world, but nothing would ever compare to that single moment when I first kissed the girl of my dreams and knew that my love would last forever.”
